3. SMS and Communications
When you opt in to MedPathX communications, you may receive SMS text messages and emails related to:
Case dispatch alerts
Transport status updates
Multi-factor authentication codes
Message frequency varies based on your activity and case volume. Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP, QUIT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, or OPTOUT to any message. Reply HELP or INFO for assistance. You can also manage your notification preferences in your account settings.
Consent to receive SMS or email communications is not a condition of using MedPathX.

SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with or sold to any third parties. This exclusion applies to all text messaging originator opt-in data and consent information collected by MedPathX, except as necessary to provide the SMS service through our messaging service provider (Twilio).

Case Coordinators and Operators — Your company profile, aircraft availability, and contact details may be shared with other authorized MedPathX participants as part of case coordination and dispatch.
Service Providers — We use third-party service providers (e.g., Twilio for SMS, Microsoft Azure for hosting and email) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
Legal Requirements — We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
Safety — We may share information when we believe it is necessary to protect the safety of our users or the public.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
